In the wilds. The sketchbook.

 In the wilds.

One day I sat down to draw and eventually came up  with the ideas for  what would become Teens vs Witches. It was the first day of school in fall 2016.  The very first one and really the folks therein that place were not receptive. The first class was full of people who where in the graphic design department and just hated me and my goals. If you had said that you spent the summer working on comics they looked at you bitter. But let's just say the folks in the graphic design department or any graphic design department if we are to speak of any college I ever went to; were just full of shit and if anything have the most ill mannered and immoral means of being. I regret nothing. They looked at you like if you drunk bitter milk. Someone sat aside me; this weird person around my age-they dressed in a sun dress and a straw hat and just had a bag. Now, I do not judge but for women to wear dresses today or a sun dress to school kinda signals that something is wrong with them or rather they just came from whatever cotton picking fields and just decided to come to school. And came to school expecting that I should be a cotton picker and looked at me as if I was exceeding the value of a role they expected people like me to have. They glared at me in the most ugly glare.

Eventually they got up and left but let's just say that was the type of malice you had to deal with.  One question that comes to mind to me at least is the fact that really this person did not seem as if they came to school to learn but to fulfill an obligation. Such to say expected a  certain level of privilege to allow them to be instantly successful and theme some other people as cotton pickers by their race of course. The person from first glance was attractive but after you saw the thoughts under their face and their glaring-you realized the devil was under the brow of the beauty. Rather they were like Lucifer; stripped of their beauty of course by their behaviors and beliefs and actions. Truly many women into the future would be like this and really; let's just say that you will never find many women wearing dresses in the casual situation of school-its just not comfortable and really women as whole seem to like a better freedom of expression. Yet some people would be trapped in the past; engaging as if they had some duty to upheld as privileged people who make other people pick cotton. To say this nitwit was just a confederate nazi hanging out in the back of this school. I would only see them once more but that is when I was myself so hurt and injured; you could not care about one more racist strewn about the place. They were just an omen to the hardships one community college would have. Nasty, racist and evil people were all to be found in that place from then into the future. Not a good precedent at all and one that really threatened your works if you stayed in one place too long.

Yes; something of a thought came to me to draw the girl as a witch but then I forgot the idea as one would not be so petty outright even if justified. My artistic directives were more of a peace and a harmony and not discord and fling stones at people you just can hate outright, hate easily or be validated to hate. But let's say I was not the one to cast the first stone. It was this individual who sat as if a marvelous princess nearest the art building at the back of the college as if a princess so pious and so ignorant to where they actually were. Yes, many people would be the first ones to instigate stuff and literally are not people with the thinking capabilities that they are out of their cotton picking minds for attacking pure strangers. Pure strangers who five years down the road would and will eviscerate them at any chance simply because they thought it was their right to be of hatred and look down on people minding their own damn business and never even minding them but to check on their surroundings. Yes; the only really victim was never the racist who sat down one day nearest me on an opposite bench. No, the real victim was me because of their hate and their racism and just pure contempt for how society runs whereas they had no business trying to start shit with me. Such to say; whatever entitlement they felt really excuses nothing of their behavior and yes in real life if you glare at people and try to make a big issue; you might get more than your bargained for and literally end up beaten up. Alas; some parents just teach their children to be the ones emboldened by the heritage of hate to storm a capitol.
