I just cannot with this shit.

     It just seems like a double whammy these days. The whole week since Sunday has been a nightmare for the people in Texas. Texas is the largest fucking state in the United States and that is alot of fucking people to be freezing and out in the cold and many without any water. The top of the state especially Austin is not fairing well. They have tons of snow, their power is out and they lack basic resources. Some and many people there have been without power for three days and this is a Wednesday mind you-so since Sunday. In the region I lived things did not really get bad until last night when and where the power went out. 

    I have to say some surrounding facts around the great state of Texas and who runs the power grid.; the power grid is deregulated and disconnected from the rest of the United States.  It means that Texas' power grids don't have snow proofing technology as the rest of the country and are trapped in the fucking past. They are only such because of those Republicans in Texas making a big fuss to keep the grid seperate and yes ignore the chance of snow happening when it is not that far a thought that a "bad snow event " can occur. Frankly what I am to tell you is that even in Houston-it snows even if a little bit once every 3 to 4 years. Its only heightened since 2018 that whenever it does get to that level; the results are not that great. People in Texas don't have the stuff as they do up North for the roads and whatever because of the climate and so the roads being slippery is a big deal in the state if not in the south. What sets this place, this state apart is the level of incompetence by those who govern it and decided just to allow one company pretty much a monopoly to make a separate state power grid. One that is severely ignorant of global warming and its effect if not the republicans behind this grid choose to never upgrade it even if there was a previous type of event not so long ago in the 2010s. Only the people in El Paso have a separate power grid and one that is snow proof. To say that a bunch of incomponents run the state is an understatement. These people are fucking evil.

   This storm came out of the blue but yet there should have been measures in place to protect the lives of many Texans. Many people have in fact died because they were without power and stuck in the cold essentially and have no ability to survive theirselves because the type of cold harsh weather does not exist here at all. If anything the level of contingency planning and looking out for the interests of the people of a state relies and rests in the government and not in the people who don't have the resources-the science departments and really anything to give them an insight in what is coming for them. Only people who have looked to the net, local authorities and newstations have been able to even protect theirselves and their homes. Never has the government in Texas-the state government done anything to warn the citizens about the weather. It really just shrugged it shoulders and said " this is normal" whilst everything is going to shit. When people complain and even people who live in Texas who are of the celebrity status speak up, the republicans want to make some nonsense myth that renewable energies are at fault when in fact that it is a fiction they would like to put their blames for their lack of contingencies and their malicious actions which have killed many people. If not kill them have them out freezing and cold. People in some places have to boil water when there is no electric to boil water and thus I say to you that this weather has plunged Texas into a time of Puritan make believe whatever.  The scientific answer and logical answer say this whole debacle rests on republican leaders and those who voted to have a separate power grid from the rest of the United States. Then they dare say that the problem is something imaginary as " Devils exists and so do witches". They really like to contribute their lack of scientific understanding as if a great belief to cover up for their fuck up. Its to be said its beyond fucking pathetic and frankly-why was this shit even allowed to happen? Tell me? It was because some dumb fuckers behind the republican party thought they could just ignore something that needed to be done to save lives and allow people to continually live.

    No one in this state for since Sunday has been able to live as normal or do anything but be afraid of the weather, freezing to death and the incompetence of the republicans. If a person does not see the incompetence as a threat-they are stupid simply and just guild to push theirselves into early  graves. I mean to say that all school has been shuttered, most of work places are closed except the superstores and places of that nature and really much life has come to a standstill because some people-the republicans want to live some fake and pathetic way of life that is an antithesis to people being able to live normally and many people not die senseless deaths. I mean to say that if you are in college; you could not have done anything for class this week in person especially and online especially because first of the weather and then the republican led incompetence.  This frankly means that you lost a week of school and frankly have to do all of what you were going to do this week later and the semester just has grown by one week it did not need to. If I am to continue; many people are stuck in their apartments and homes without food to eat. Frankly without water, heat or electricity and just are stuck much of the day freezing in cold.  Freezing much to the detriment of their health and yes-people don't have access to the net when their phones and tech eventually run of batteries or their service does not work with power as they don't have data! And yes all this during a global epidemic and it was preventable; this whole thing was preventable but the republicans just like to play in mud and hold up a cricket they believe in, "Jimmy D Cricket, that boy be grand". Really much to think that the green deal has anything to do with your failures says alot about where your mind is at and really its not in a place of reality, one that reveres science and not even one that shows an ability to reason at a level a person meant to lead the people even should. But the mentality of a charlatan who is always looking for a way to bash science and what he does not understand because God surely smiles upon him for his stupidity and alternative thinking. The governor Greg Abbott and the republican are such people who are playing pretend in a backyard full of mud and making believe they are spreading joy and kindness because they are some mother's precious ball of joy and they are permitted to think that they are spreading some great virtue that democrats and those behind better energy sources for the environment and weather's sake surely miss. Its a farce and its completely evil. Ted Cruz rather than stay in Texas, did indeed just get on a plane to Cancun because really Mother's special boy cannot go freezing like everyone else suffering. A real screw you to many suffering in this state larger than much and many other states that experience snowy weather; a lot of fucking people.

    I woke up today thinking about the movie A Day after Tomorrow. How everything just shuttered and ram shut because of literal incompetence that some people think should be praised.  I really am to say I could not do anything for school, my ability to do much anything else fractioned greatly and surely enough just had to see people huddled down because it was freezing!  I am to say I won't be letting this go and I am sure many other Texans aren't even however even though the folks in Austin which is Texas' capitol where they make "laws"- are going to obvious amend the current electrical system-people will not forget this event because there are many compliants and many people suffering very bad in this state. Some people have been without power for three days straight and are freezing their behinds off and just in bad state and its all the Republican led government's fault.
