Lupe~Palenius Tricks
Most vital to the story of Palenius Tricks is an arc in which that takes up 8 episodes of the first volume. We are trapped in a Queen Akuma's layer and palace sort of deal. I did not know what Akuma meant back then but it is the means of the one character. However else. Lupe is a court jester in her service who helps Palenius Tricks and Nancy survive. That was the original concept. In the most recent version; it takes a while to get even to this point and have rearranged things so we meet most of the main cast already by now minus some characters. Still in the upcoming version; Lupe will still be a court jester of sorts. Namely her appearance has changed many times and the most difficult person to draw. I only picked her name out of one of those reading passages people had to read in a Benchmark test. I am not sure if people namely youth younger that 20s years old or even older will know what that is. Surely and simply was a test you had to take and determined in part if you would pass your grade. It was big deal but secondary to the Taax Test.
Namely I got the name from one of these popular authors and writers who they liked to feature in the tests. Annoying it is to read these scriptures of holy authorhood meant for kids to suffer from. I named this character off the indifference of the test makers to put essays, stories and topics that seemed like a good deal reading them the first time but realize there is a fucking test all over the subject matter. And while this story may amuse you-you still got to take the fucking test and face the dragon. Ultimately many kids probably don't have such extreme tests as Taax nor Benchmark and if they do; its much lessened and all the stories are just nonsense and you still have to face the dragon yet a smaller one-because people care less about education in America year by year. Ultimately I hated the nature of the tests back in the day trying to be funny while you faced a whole deal of danger. I don't know about you. But for it would be embarrassing to fail these tests namely. Two, it would be horrible if your parents found out you made such a bad grade on a major test. Three, always studied back in the day on all these major tests so I never failed a grade. This always did not translate into a happy ending or happy summer anyways. Because people no matter how much you try there are always things above your control.
Lupe; is to represent how just of how funny in endearing and trying times is not needed nor necessary and if to say if you are going to have the funny might as well just allow people to draw for a fucking living easily~how about that. But people who made these tests just want to toy with people there is a chance of a variety for a happy world. Like when you finish these damned tests that in the end the state and government will say are not good enough and toss them in the trash and all your struggling to balance creativity and school work is all for fucked convenience of people and their merit to feel as if people are learning anything by these tests. No friends; I tell you the truth a person learns a great deal of self hatred after relentless studying to save one's ass. And realizes people's cruel indifference to their creativity and effort behind it.There is no happy world after passing. No. There is not especially with their toying. They even reference the works so you can research them later. Later on after these tests would what? I would yes look up the authors and frankly their books terrible as cardboard needed not be in works of a test at all as bad as stories they "completely" were.
Yes; all your ideas might as well be trash compared to this cardboard and that maybe after relentlessly studying and pushing aside working on your craft as a kid....summer is just an opportunity for stupid fucking parents who really don't give a fuck about you to continue playing fucking school and try to guilt you for being a creative. Don't get me with that good parents bullshit people always seem to compliment. Tests that try to be inclusive of fun are just written insensitive disasters who have no respect for people's real lives and strife.
I will say this character called Lupe represents the damned envy of struggling people who have to carry rocks all day and all day long until finally they are free to create and draw; wishing they could just have as much fun as seemingly test creators did making it so hard to pass everything. Making childhood terrible for all its means and if not making teenage years angry and venomous times. While teens start to learn to manage their time and actually do things without the aid or hinderance of people~ kids don't have that certain ability. And maybe no kid should have to be made to suffer just because they are a creative and a youth. All today feel as people today have forgotten how bad testing was in the past and people don't care how bad it is today. The children today don't have really good tests to say that really challenge at all. Just things for lawmakers and some teachers to say children are learning when they aren't and the people who say they are; don't give a fuck. Let's represent some type of history here; being in GT classes means you always have to pass your benchmarks and Taax tests. No room for failure and seriously what these tests did in the end; gave people a false sense of hope they knew anything about theirselves or about the world. Their whole world much like mine was like taking tests and living to take tests. You could not do anything you just wanted to do. Got to be committed to waste youth to preparing for pointless tests people don't even give out anymore.
What does this say about the character of Lupe. If you read Marvel or DC comics there are some pretty dark characters to say. Some characters that learn redemption and leave a castle behind and stop being a court jester.Conversely it seeks to represent that people will no longer wish for a better day of no testing and domestic struggle. When certainly people will often grow up and realize the flaws of a certain system and way of being and maybe that people should not be forced into this bullshit of standardized testing that do nothing really the fuck at all. And maybe people would better off if they could actually do things in youth productive that allow them to be them and expand to their true goals and dreams and not this theme of testing taking and grade passing survival! Or this garnered righteous harassment by parents so godly it must be the voice of God. I am thinking this one character Lupe learns salvation in ultimately stop laughing at others and becomes the voice of reason. But maybe just maybe goes too far with the lesson learned in the end and is a ticking time bomb. I am going to say there is no connection of what Lupe means to a real world standpoint after maybe she takes the freedom too far. But if one were to say; Lupe becomes a person who cannot remember her past hardships or others and just becomes a liability to all who encounter her for the rest of the story.
I was going to change Lupe into a better character this time around and she might as well be. But in the original if sticking to plan. Lupe is a person who when freed from being a Jester slowly becomes a villain to threaten the whole world before learning a very important lesson. I feel to say its very agreeable to not change this when so many girls I have met are Lupes. People so self centered in the end they cannot discover their own harm to the world when set free from highschool and precious hinderances( I really and relatively doubt they had growing in the era in which they did). They cannot understand true adult morals or normal people morals rather. They cannot dream of anything but taking things without clarity, to extremity, believing people are so honest behind the beliefs they deem to them and just thinking all things in life don't come with hard work but with predujice, indifference and privilege of others working for you and a continued yet hindered maturity state. In which they will easily blame everyone for their own shortcomings when all they did at every time they could was check their phone.
To clarify what this all means. I must say it deals greatly with how this version of Lupe will look like.
The 2009 version she had short hair really jester like in sort. Another version after that she had long hair and curves. The 2009 version did too but really that was just how the character turned out. The 2013 version after other versions that reverted back to smaller hair and a less annoying persona-reverted back to a mix between favoritable and irritable. The 2013 version had long hair but with the grievous errors of the 2009 version. I also say that how are girls today you will speak with at a community college or just out of highschool? To give a far comparison let us go back to highschool.
In highschool there was a girl called Lupe. One of those pretentious Victoria secret bag carriers and you would always see her in the mall every so often for some fucking reason with her "boyfriends" and passe. Found myself having to be nice to this person who by all standards was a self receiving, self inflating, self deceiving fool. To not anger her out of date hispanics "possy" and peeps who weren't hispanics namely. Everything was as she called it. As if she was god shopping at Victoria Secret or getting gifts from there. Namely as an older person I find it strange and so fucking weird that a 14 year old would be getting panties from a store for adults. I just find it weird. Had her life all laid out and never was a person invited to tell this bitch to shut the fuck up and pay attention. As if to tell her she was not the center of the world was some out of the world violation. Later on in highschool this girl was too much; acting as if she understood black people just by hanging out with the haunty misbehaving people who so happened to be black as if to confirm her own stereotype about black people. No one could tell her shit. She run the world as Beyonce would later say near or around the time highschool ended. After this bitch made every class a living hell of her conspired racist ideals so innocently contrived and everyone got to adhere to her bullshit and that you are nerd nigger if you ever are black with glasses.....what did she say in the last Taax tests or whatever they were transitioning to in 2013? " I am going to marry him but we got to get consent from our parents if we are to live together-he's one year older than me." And " I plan to be an emergency hotline worker it pays alot". Namely my friends this person had to wake up to reality eventually. But did so in their own self realized terms that I pointly will say probably did not work out. I mean if you have to ask your parents to get married to a guy-just maybe you aren't ready for marriage. Namely-the voice of that girl was like Sofia Vergara. Well before she became overtly noticeable thanks to modern family. Her voice the accent would not do well in an American emergency hotline. To say that girl was very offensive for no fucking reason the entire four fucking years of highschool only to realize in her own semi constructive manner that life was not this" she is the center of the world place". Yet maybe kept her as an egoistical driven fuck. To go into more information; the guy she was dating at the time was like the soccer superstar of the highschool and namely was big with everyone who was in this piped hot girl's social group-from latin america or just some stupid black folk who really did not know what a fucking dog whisper was. This girl was like a fucking dance person and this guy the athlete. The old cheerleader and jock stereotype but real life and posed in what direction; self destructive nature. All these four years the girl would date the same type of soccer folk. Its maybe no reason the coach thought he could have a piece of a cake as his players did with all their women and maybe too attracted to female students as if he was a male student. But namely fool got arrested maybe like two years later after I graduated highschool. But to say what does this all mean?
I am simply saying for all that girls likeness to a fucking idiot, annoying queen of drama and racial proliferation and racism none of her gaudy friends could catch onto-this girl was truly better than the girls I met at community colleges just from highschool. Its like everyone of these girls was like a worse version of this one girl. Yet this time around; you were actually trying to go out with her not realizing what an annoying and bothersome personality they are. I would prefer again and again if I was to be in a fucking room with that annoying girl to go out with her that be bothered with the girls I met at these places. I rather would and that is how bad some girls are these days. Vehemently not nice people and really to say don't have the morals you want in a person and yet you realize it too late after they pull one of their trashy antisocial tricks on you. I don't doubt it will bring such grand length to Palenius Tricks and the upcoming story arc I plan to write and draw even though I have enough already to complete and be done with it for a time. I just think this message needs to be told. Of how people of color are just people and namely how bad testing is and the circumstances of youth thus some people want to later validate their actions in adulthood. But they cannot when their actions are trashy and just outwardly sad they never had the character to be good people without the influence of other's actions else wise.
