New Warriors cannot catch a break.
Literally, if you know about the history of the New Warriors, the comic book-the title has not gotten a break at all. I mean the original 90s title reached 70 serials. But everything after that would always be lesser than that. The later 1999 to 2000s title only had about ten serials. Later on basically the teen would just be the catalyst for the Civil War event where they are basically deprived of being heroes but just underage irresponsible heroes who while being recorded for a reality tv show cause an explosion that kills many. Next you after the Civil War series that last for 20 serials and pretty much in my opinion has a lame story. I never liked the Civil War arc of anything with Marvel and surely never liked this title. Afterwards you get the (2014) or whatever modern edition of the story in the Marvel All New or whatever they called it that was pretty much the best modern story in frankly 14 years. Redeemed the team and talked about Civil War events and its implications like Speedball turning into Penance. Despite having a great quirk of unity and moving away from negativity of the Civil War, this story only had 12 serials or even about ten serials maybe( I really actually have to look up the direct number cause I cannot remember the serial amount of my head). Anyways, the 2020 story seems to take a really positive nature that you assume that a title that cannot catch a break needs. But no, more tragedy comes in entitled so called "fans" or youtubers and their followers trying to deride a story of its premise and potential simply because they don't like the characters.
So entitled to a fake sense of what Marvel is actually about from movies and their pop culture teeshirts, they are in mass hatred for the idea. So much this title when finally given a positive outlook more than what has been done in a long time(nearly by now, 20 years) and the New Warriors team are not cast as the lesser moral hero group( for Civil War events), it is defeated by cries of that it is too politically correct and that ,"the characters suck". And "I can draw this better yet I cannot even understand the original idea and how things are to fit together". Maybe a 12 serial comic for the 2020 story is now just five serials. Why? Well, I actually looked up on the Marvel site when this title would be out. Turns out that basically it has been delayed and now probably will only be around for 5 serials. Much enough people don't understand that really much this means that once again, the New Warriors will never find its ground. Like what are the characters supposed to be doing in five serials? Its bright premise wasted and it will take years and years for there to even be another title. I say it took about 6 years to even get another New Warriors after the 2014 or that time period's title.
Really much real fans of anything would not namely bash an idea for its appearance or what it would seem without reading it and judge it by its cover. But some "real fans" aren't fans at all. Just to have an opinion that frankly says of ingratitude and indifference to logical reasoning and just mongering to a deposition that seems to have as much merit as the world being circular. Especially when its all based on what things appear to be and not what they are when the story is not even available for people to even give an argument that characters are actually too politically correct or this or that. Literally, New Warriors in its 2020 edition has been pretty much detracted from by literal people who think its so cool to be angered by a wrapping and never examine the actual content. Its just another said break in the New Warriors story for much of its existence in this century. Where it cannot catch a break from either a bad storyline or just a terrible public hindering the storyline to even be.
