Welcome to blashempy.

It's so laughable what the internet has become, anyone who is hired by an animation company has prestige, knowledge and the genius level accreditation and authority to speak on all art. That's kind of funny when animators never finalize their own creative ideas because they often don't have the time.

Namely, in their jobs versus misconceptions; it's all about what their skills can bring to complete an animated project yet these skills hardly would be their creative skill. In art, you literally you can have tons of technical skill but lack the heart of an artist. Many animators are just people who don't have the real hearts of artists because they can hardly do their own work and become convinced their purpose in life are to be tools in poor work conditions. Such to an effect when one animator awoke to the fact of being " a tool" for Disney, many animators took the rats' side despite not working in the conditions the woman outlined. Or literally because they viewed it as a waste despite the conditions the woman outlined. Why? Simply because they think it's okay to be used as a tool. They relatively have no creative control of the skills they give for frank slave labor so the self identity would be confused out of the desperation for money. Animation schools still cost money and loans. The major point is that mental slaves by their own choice who live a desperate life don't know what is out there or even how to express theirselves.

Enter Ethan Becker, he is the newest art face, a new original voice telling all the people without self confidence and wanting to not do the hard work and be.mental slaves to procrasination. Does he know anything about the real craft of art of finishing an idea that may or not be conventional? No, all he knows is offering his technical skills for a slave manner type life! Surely, he provided both sides of any argument when promoting disapproval for the particular Disney animator on what to do with her life! No, he held her up as an example in what an artist should not be!
"don't you ever, ever quit Disney!" Rather, " don't you know your own worth".Who is he!
Tamron Hall and her theme song for her tv show which sounds like, " don't, you ever ever". Which in reality for what it is supposed to be, " so you can be better, better".

Ethan Becker does not make anything better. He simply aims to make things better but is a conservative in art, so stupid to think people cannot see through his facade. He is just so lucky to be an animator and never having to commit to his own ideas but nitpicking people's art from a technical perspective. " fixing Loish's stinky hands" is the title of his latest video. It's literally common sense to any intelligent people to not use adjectives to people or other people's property.

Ethan Becker does own Loish's work and even then, improving the " hands" would destroy the meaning behind the art. You don't buy art to f ix the hands in the art piece! You admire it and respect the artist and in the real world if you were to buy an expensive painting to " fix it" in your ideals, you would meet public outcry and the painting would be worthless because the meaning is destroyed. This is the culture people on the net and animators like Ethan Becker don't understand. There is so much more to art than " skill". Skill is only the means to an end and not the sum of all things of art. Art is heart. I'd love some individual to say that whilst opening a video spouting misinformation to the many who will listen to anything to succeed.

Art is a derived meaning and one person's techinical skill cannot outpace meaning despite the skill level. A person who spouts that they instantly know any meaning behind an artist's work and demand it be improved is rude and without culture. A basic uncivilized person. I mean I am going to look at you and call you" Stinky", should I not expect a punch or an angry response back. If I call your art" stinky" or a part of it because I don't get art is either symbolic or derived of a person's meaning and nature of expression because I got a cushy job where I never have to do anything of real meaning for myself despite technical skills, what then?

The following could be said, people who are actual artists and not only you Mr or Ms animator, realize how bad and misleading your advice is. People will be angered by your video and its not offering a valid anything your peon viewers would like to believe. It's an insult to say you can fix what you don't understand. The whole perspective of Loish is not to create good art but art be a mere self expression. But for a person who has to create a myth of perfect art based on technical skills and pick on anyone who has prestige on the internet being of self expression and what art is truly about!

True people on the net might sell out for money but nothing as degrading as animation which work force seems to be rendered idiotic by poor conditions and such only support only those who can stay in line as a clog! Surely, they never knew of an animator before they " left Disney" but despise the notions of freedom and thought and reasoning artists are known to have if not courage. " Don't you ever have courage".
" Don't you ever do the hard work". These are things encouraged by Ethan Becker and the like, simply shortcuts are everything when they aren't at all. They are chances for grave missteps what art is about and people never learn meaning but an utterly robotic function. That never rises human thought to reach not through lazy thinking an ambition but privilege to be a soul dead robot who thinks they are so cute improving arts of others in a rude bullying( self deriving nature) way of conduct and action! I think that really a person who has to go so far to prove " their superiority" as an artist is not one! But a pampered dog in a cubicle working less than their worth!

If one is to choose to live by Ethan Hacker's false words they are just a dumb dog who will never achieve any real meaning of what art is! Art is not a contest. It is not a perfect thing and nor should an imbecile parade around saying is giving beginners bad ideas. But surely these beginners don't want to be bitches but Ethan Hacker's advice is enough to fail you in life as an artist for many people without a cushy robot animator job that essentially makes you a grunt.
