For two years, I have been following the online internet community and even the community that exists in physical form for four years or 6 years or even longer and what have I found out? Both are abusive and discriminatory. They are also self degrading and never realize their true worth. I come to you today with the notion that these are both two bad ways to live life.
Online Community.
The online internet community of art is solely built on people making money off a venus diagram and what does that venus diagram include? One bubble, they make art in which people like to think is art other than just money casted dribble with no real meaning. They emphasize one style as art and that is the strictive digital style and only one school of thought behind applying color or anything for that matter, everyone does the same styles over and over again and everything looks the same. Loish, Sakami Chan, Lord Gris even-all look the same especially when you see them on instagram. Now, Lord Gris uses a hand drawn style and then colors her images on the computer so she might be excluded but she is apart of the same type of imagery that is presented to the viewers of the internet-to be the only definition of art and while not on the actual rings of fire of the top tier definition, people can associate that she is just an offset of these artists and apart of the same image branding if you may of art. I say this from an objective standard not to hate on anyone at all but that is what it is.
Lord Gris is the unique of the people who make "only art" and has diversity in her methods of creating. This is a problem because some people can never be associated with a passed down image when they are not even women or strictly digital artists.
In a middle bubble, there is what can be called a contention. The online artists in general importance of the definition of what people on social media define is art are basically uneducated much and many. They keep to their own circles of styles and never ask the audience to consider what art is all about. No, these people see they can get by with their art and push their art as the face of art. The public side of online consumers are not learned behind art and simply think this image is all there is to art and basically don't like anything that is not this "only art" brand. Only art is anything that can be distinguished by the same standard of styles and methods and even people who are not exactly this branding can somewhat fit in just by how similar in appeal their artwork is. Seemingly to be the alternative to the main stream. Simply, these people know their difference but yet promote the idea of one sole firm art grip identity which in the end creates a toxic marketplace for other type of artists who never went to art school or do things "this and that way". The audience of online consumers will push online art as they only demand they want. I don't know if you know but that is bad especially if you intend to sell your art online and you are not lucky to be El Sakami Chan with a very digital anime like style. It means even if you were to put up shop with comics and such that you make, you could never make any money because the demand is not there. And you would have to have a blog or something to change public perceptions or educate people to even be successful. While it was not always that way in the most recent online activity over the last three years minus 2016 (when the whole change of "only art" really began to dominate the market of what gains a person not of it could get) has been of a mindless fanfare to promote one art superior over another. Thanks maybe to buzzfeed and bored panda constantly pushing bad conceptions about art and its modern image.
In the other bubble, what would you have? Consumers who basically are on the internet and don't know what art is. They don't know, they probably do or do not have respect for artists( large world of the internet) or they have a misinformation of what it is. Likely all some people want is fanart. That might be fine and dandy but to the real legit people of the world who believe in real brands and selling and creating them, it is a fucking nightmare. And when I say "fucking", I highly stress that. Maybe it would be nice if fanart was at a moderate level of creation or want that is not stimulated by some artists pushing bad conceptions of what people should expect to buy from artists like fanart-but no. Fanart is all what people think about art and literally this type of idealism funds the lack of knowledge behind the principles of copyright and legal matters of stealing branded characters and images (pasting them on shirts to sell just because you ask someone else to draw it or drew it yourself). Yet consumers on the internet are convinced these days of a role behind support of "only art" as king. Meaning that really for pretty much all artists ever that really do not post everything online or their best works online just for money-or constantly toutes that the new art on their twitter account or instagram account is all there is to them, there is no money to be gained even if you work hard or twice or trice or even 4th exponent hard as people who just basically say all their artistic advancement is tied to money.
Consumers also because they buy from these people who are often miseducated and hateful to anyone else who dare have a different origin or style, miseducate people on respect and things about art and artists. Namely the major crime passed onto consumers is that the art many popular people make/they the "only artists" would have you believe they are the sole contributors of modern art in general. And that all artists just post their works for money as soon as it turns from their creative engines( I am going to tell you, that is a bad policy) As if fine artists and people who don't have to post everything online to be successful in art or make money from it don't exist. What this does to the consumers is misinform them and basically tells them that they cannot make art. It neutralizes any interest in the world of art when these misinformed and uneducated people speak( some might be educated by namely alot aren't and I have done the lengthy research to tell you which online artist is educated or not or namely notice the amount of them that don't have any great credible knowledge rating or even willing to acknowledge that there is more to art.) and just turns it into this rather childish cycle of fanart that you could have found in 2006 in a middle school( and I lived that, too to know it parallels well like an ever growing nightmare).
I am to tell you something, not every artists is good at first and sure as fucking hell did not create everything for money at first. No, they only were lucky enough to come up in a time when the internet was starting social media and became so addicted to the power of mistreating their art for money-they can never be surely honest to people who think their path is legitimate. I am to you, the best artists never post everything for people to see. The real cany artists who create comic books or storyboards or even animations don't show people everything. Because really art does not work in such a fashion where you have to desperately post everything for anything to work at all for your progress. But maybe when it is all for money it does. Many people have taken the false lesson of money to the head especially when they are not good artists yet and try to be but end up hindering theirselves. Creating everything for money hurts the creative self and never does a person truly grow with external demands in which they are not clever enough to manage against so it does not affect their artistic progress. I am to you that some of your favorite artists are good but only good enough to where they rather hurt their true artistic purpose for the sake of money and else contribute nothing to others lower than their skill set truly getting better in a health way. They are only good to the money but when it comes to meaning and personal insight, they lack to an amount of shite.
These people really still have alot of development to make but hinder theirselves for money just because of a marketed "only art" ideal. Usually these people will even comment on social media on who they wish they had the time to develop theirselves. Yet this would not be a problem only if they did not do what? Promote a fantasy idea that they are okay and so okay, they ignore an issue that even bothers them just to keep public trust. Consumers are usually told that they have to be a certain type of person to be an artist today. Maybe political correct and maybe not or maybe art school even( art school does not help for anything and I can tell you why in the fine arts/ real life section) are all just some ideas. They basically say, its okay to level not your best or what could come from practice and development but what can seem to sell. And what sells is the "only art" branding. You make your line art, you digital color it and then you sell it for less than its worth. I am to you that repeating the steps of these world renowned geniuses of the internet does not make a person who aspires to be an artist who has less skills than them an artist. It only make them a person who fails to ever become one by such terrible advice that constitutes abuse. Pandering to an unjustly spread idea of "only arts" does not teach people who don't have the skills anything but intimation and not how to figure their own stuff out. It makes copyright a thing of the past where everyone wants to draw the same character and make money off it like their favorite "only artists" top tier does. Simply, many people are cast into a joke imitation of what art is about: casted by people who often are too cowardly to truly develop as artists in this world and stay at the same place namely in which their potential to advance is surely greater. Artists develop and continue to do so over time and you could be an artist who draws stick figures but is that your best? No, its not, and surely if you keep pushing and learning in a positive environment where you only listen to positivity-you will advance. Surely even people who are good enough to sell art still need to advance the same. However what these people who are "good at art" to a convention they set basically for people to be accustomed to are just doing a deservice to the identity of artistic progress. By saying that their level is the best for anyone to achieve. I am to tell you that art is not such a finite thing. These people barely make enough money to live independently. They less than likely have no job opportunity in doing anything else but commissions and fanfare and the occasional lucky gig least they have some type of education. I am to say that their art is based off as god's work on the internet when really it is the least a person can aspire to. Their lifestyles are not even healthy and openly are close minded to the rest of the world that is not videogames and hobbies and the world at the large but the real art world itself. They play the identity of the art world solely about them and their art and no one else exists who else picked up a pencil to know that they are misleading people greatly. For every person who dares try to be an artist even when they cannot draw at first-if they continue to practice and do so healthy and not pin theirselves to money when its a push on their development and continuation as at to do so, eventually reach a place in where they create great works. Yet even then a person still has to develop and grow or they wither away. Burnout, depression and other things come about from people who try to keep making money off their art when they don't have the learning to make money and keep art a thing in which they enjoy or don't make numerous burnout excuses. I am to say, that really every artist can become tired but its a decision to give in as it is a decision to fuck every consumer over with the petty nonsense that," we are the special artists and so much better than you can ever be, so don't try and always buy from us". Especially when everyone consumer who is preached down to in an instagram post or twitter post that an artist is just a "chosen one" who is redeeming female and of a very similar art style to their peers overall who are women as well, it is a choice. A choice made by people who don't realize that their weaknesses in art are not excuses to hinder whole people from every becoming artists as many "only artists" are quiet conscious that they need to continue to grow yet never broadcast who their practice of making money is hindering that. These people are not chosen ones but surely promote the image to great these "godly" only art images they surely in fucking hell are and that no one who reads the post can become "good as they are".
I say take the following as a grain of salt and realize this is the section that tells you what you never consider so don't be angry when its revealed. Online artists today as I will call some "Only artists" who pointedly measure a great insult to the world to hinder art advancement and the knowledge of what is art and who can be an artist despite stereotypes and misinformation, don't do any good for anyone even theirselves and their path is destructive. They are somewhat smart marketing things in which the customer can never become a creator of the material sold. They are somewhat like drugdealers selling art and convictions that people cannot be artists because they ain't them! Or rather want to keep power in their hands and the possibility to make money off their art in their current lack of resourceful thinking or acknowledgement of what artists need. They really want to hammer in that people can become "these artists that flop at the first chance they are not lucky enough to work as an artist/ 'only artist' " or "these artists who want to prematurely sell anything without any good presentation"( in my opinion, just posting art on a social media account is not good enough presentation to garner any money really even if followed by a paragraph of some sort) or "people who don't realize that art is not this money based ideal but rather an objective based ideal that can contain money only in the right premises which they never learn from el sacco". The artist condition is one where you need to be able to create without the objective of money at least much of the time you practice it. The "only artists" make art seem as a brute job of pushing out already invented ideas and copying an "only art" way of life. I am to tell you that everyone cannot be a person on the internet ripping people off of their potential to be artists. If a person is to choose art, they should realize they have to slow down once and awhile and pondering things and get better and not this constant stream of things that sell even if they do have the skills to manage creating money off their art and still progressing greatly off their art. Everything can not be this defined by an another or only artist type thing where a certain route of thought and skills reaps success. Intimation is the worst thing an artist can be especially when they have a whole sum of world and skills and innovations inside. Clearly to say, I have to tell you from online experiences and yes my only knowledge as an artist who only puts things drawn on a wiacom tablet online( and not everything), that people surely don't want others who are in their situations to succeed and don't promote the logical and real life truths of being artists or even the conditions of being artist and solely make it about theirselves and their art styles to the detriment of many people in the customer's circle who look up to them. And oft these people don't want to realize any form of responsibility to speaking the truth as they know it will detract from their monies if everyone " becomes an artist". Because chances or not everyone will not be drawing "their style of anything". It must be pretty nice to funnel the wishes of people's desires and take their money and when they look up to you, mislead them to the best of your real fucking ability to get them to not where they need to truly go and call yourself an artist realizing you barely even make it yourself. In monetary gain or gain necessary to be an artist. After three years someone has to say this and it is be because the moment of artistry in society dies with every potential artist killed by the misinformation of owning what is not yours( the world of art and its identity that belongs to everyone and also copyright brands that are often copied over and never see the light of sun) and depriving people on the real realities of artists and that everyday people can become artists. Artists who sell things today in masse are not chosen ones but drug dealers who don't want anyone to compete against them or sell things in a legit way.
Such to say Commissions are submissions to the "only artist" way of life. You grant them a commission, they keep on in power with great misinformation on how things work for artists at all or even in general. Commissions are submissions in which many people try to imitate the "only artist" way of life in which one style only makes the money yet find that they have the wrong motives behind art to make any money off of it and that their art style is not good enough to be anywhere near an imitation. In effect commissions and the search for them ruin any potential they could build as an artist not worrying about making money from it when they clearly are not ready to make money off their art( if they can basically be misled that they could fit in the "only artists" way of life) and any eventual potential to make money one day. Many people submit to a less value of how they should ruin their artistic lives. Even people who can make art at a higher skill level like those "only artists" but not only artists seem to think that if they put on the olde Disney ears and fanart doing eyes and anime mouth and supple tongue of commission indulgent can make it. It is clear to me that no one can make it in the online world but the "only artist" and else trying to be like them is like saying you are lesser than them when you art could very well be better than them and more meaningful and truly more meaningful yet you get nothing but negativity and prostration to a consumer base who don't respect artists because that is what they are taught by "only artists". Commissions are submissions when you deem them to follow the path of the "only artists" but presented in another way that respects the artist condition and even with a real marketing plan, you might have something like a business but net people don't anything like that especially uneducated on purpose despite the internet and the world to know it. People should not support the toxic culture that is "only artists". Or rather all the people who make the similar looking styles are the only people who ever can profit online or ever to be called an "artist".
I will no longer be supporting the notion this way of life or culture is anything but toxic. It is disgusting even when so many people are lost to art world and even turned off by the acts of the very entitled people of the world and while I do not get into the specifics of who some artists treat consumers and copyright laws, let's say it is never bright. But I will say this; anyone can be an artist even if they don't think they are good. Everyone can do it even if they have to do another job. People can dream to do big things in art and not be constrained by what others are doing. If I am to say that people today are too consumed on what others are doing by art trend tags that really stifle creativity and if not the sense of inner positivity and inner jurisdiction of right or in other words pride and conviction in their work and the ability for its improvement! There is so much else to say about the online community but I only listened what is most troubling for people to ever become artists.
Physical World
Now the physical art world can contain many different outcomes, graffiti, fine art paintings, structure and even art online can be assumed to be in the physical world too by computers, cellphones and other devices. Yet the physical art world and does who do art in ways that are not the online "only art" way of commissions and trashing costumers and their future prospects of being good consumers in the future and/or creating art even-the real world is more inviting. There are various different places that might have an online component and use the internet and computers but usually because they are apart of a job component. Yes, many people can be employed as artists from graphic designers, animated show runners, videogame graphic renders, cgi artists, web designers, illustrators, painters, art teachers and curators-there are many choices even more that use a computer or get jobs at real places. But people would not know that. Its 2020 and the perceptions of what jobs artist do are still misguided by a haunty perception that art is child's play and not a real job. They are even dug under by online grifters ehmm online artists who convince everyone on the net all that art is something of fan art or loose drawings that have no real meaning or purpose and that be it. But art empowers the world in the ancient times and even today. Those cookies, you buy-graphic design. The websites you visit on social media and the internet, web design and graphic design. The graphics behind backgrounds in animated shows and movies are made by production artists. The list can continue and continue and people would still not get it. But art has a vital place in society and yet there is quiet a system on who can be an artist by misinformation and bad perceptions.
People think you have to go to art school to be successful as an artist. That is untrue. All you need is a degree or a good portfolio or good marketing skills or a good ability to keep creating content to keep people interested in you even if its not truly benefiting you(this is joke-don't do this). In all realness, people just need educations to succeed regardless of being artists or not but a person should never expect art degrees from art schools to measure into any real worth when they usually don't teach anything that will actually help you succeed. In my experience, the only degrees that are actually helpful to gain are those in which offer some type of marketing and graphic design skills because that is what modern artists need to succeed today. Is it likely everyone who majors in painting to be a painter? No, its likely they would be working in a place they don't like and frankly with tons of debt that cannot be paid least they advance their art over night or become rich and famous and that is a situation that can end people as artists where they are pushed to pursuit of doing what works for money. In real life, many schools for art are useless and even those for graphic design too( personal experience)-the best skill that is learnt is developed in the school of yourself. Though I say it does help to have an education in something that will give you money than trying to be the outright artists out in the open. The world is sadly not a place where you can just go to a building to be paid to make art without any education or portfolio or any skills. Yet it can be if you learn skills yourself while getting an education in something that will allow you to work in art and make money too. I am to say that graphic design is pretty much the best practical degree a person who wants to have an actual life get. People often assume that artists have to suffer and this and that. That is not so, but still many people online want to still preach that fact. Simply folks, you got to school to get something that is art and something in which you can truly get a job in and it not hinder your art. Going straight for art does that for many people. In some of these fancy smacy shtick schools, they say to you-you are not good enough and grade with hostile authority that is found on hatred for you and your advancement as an artist. Graphic design is about making the appealing image of a brand and its outlook and ideally you would not be centered on your "art skill" for it to even be targeted because some people in graphic design cannot draw at all even if they want to try and attempt to be artists because they took rip offs of fancy smacy shtick school art classes at your local college or community college that aren't art schools.
Art schools furthermore are probably about the worst places you can meet artists. People who surely live in some type of condition and some type of habit. Its a childish competition on what it takes to succeed and who can be best and who can earn the teacher's approval to always get As without trying and it all comes down to the competition of your art versus mine. They might say that but that is what the toxic cultures of art classes do and art schools carry. But I am to tell you if the previous did not tell you, a person can succeed by one or two things. One, don't ever go to art school, and two-never major in anything art like except graphic design or things like it and even be careful there because people are plenty hostile. Simply, I am telling you that multimedia is much the width to go, things like gaming, graphic design, film and web design work. Painting, illustration, pottery and all those other things pushed as majors in art school are just fluff things that never work out. Do you need a degree in illustration? No, you will meet tons of people who are never ready for you to carry the title of artist. You will meet teachers who don't care about you and your success as an artist and trying to push you out of the path of it. No, in real life, art school sounds dandy and it works for a small fraction of people who can take an abuse or are perfect people or just the middle men who fall in to abuse. Its all about teachers who make it only because they have a degree or masters in art with some teacher's certificate or license and teach at the school. Students who often many don't amount to much. Teachers and students being unhelpful to you that it is an embarrassment to artists and artistry of anything itself they think they are the top of anything. You get so many people trying to shut you down as an artist in art schools, it is the most toxic place and not worth it. Its not worth it in colleges that aren't schools either because they follow the same culture even if they are in a community college. At least in graphic design its about graphic design and if no one teaches you anything and you just teach yourself much everything, let me tell you-the insults fall on deaf ears and reflect on how poorly they attempt to teach you anything at all. Your art is never targeted in graphic design and multimedia places. Its only usually praised if you ever have those skills but that can make you hated by people who don't but it does not matter because what are they going to do? Try to lynch you at kingwood community college. They might but they don't succeed. The thing is that you need something that carries a lifestyle and really no place in art is forgiving. even multimedia in a learning condition and often filled with people who don't like you. What happens when you go through art school and find you cannot become an animator or painter or something else? You still have to pay loans back in this country of the United States meaning that you will have to get a job in something else. At least in multimedia functions you can get jobs in things that are art related and still pay you something in which you can live off and not worry if you can pay back loans. Art school is a trap for the overtly cocky who think they can be artists outright. In this world its not possible for a person to be an artist outright and if you don't pausibly( you take a moment to do so and consider real life options and lifestyles) plan or plan at all for your future, its likely you won't be a person you gets paid to be an artist.
Short and small tid bit of my experience in education is that art school and art departments are full of people who never will become real paid artists. Even the teachers are fakes because they get paid a teacher's salary and are teachers more than artists and that is their cover. Many people dream to be this paid artists and get stuck working at fastfood or somewhere else for much of a time before they go back to school for something else and art is really behind them. Believe it or not, it is solely luck of timing and experience or either luck, timing and likeability of their outlook people online get paid a dime and some people control the very lines of what people define as art-so its more than hard for people to get money off the internet than in the real world in a job. By getting some type of degree that is not a useless art degree but multimedia art degree of some sort, you succeed of the many who don't have educations and have trouble getting money even if they can get people to somehow pay them. You get guaranteed money, a paycheck and that is very helpful especially when you are doing something that is art related to grant you the paycheck. You are basically encouraged by your job to create art. People who never consider what is a real viable option stay in limbo of opportunity forever and I am to tell you that the internet will not always exist forever. Because technology changes and so does the culture along with it. People who are on the internet and make money from it and don't have a college education or some real business behind them-will eventually be lost. Social media is not likely to survive forever. Many things that were popular in the previous internet era of the 2000s like AOL( America online) and Internet Explorer which were the hubs of popularity at their times died a near decade later. I offer a real perspective that comes from experience.
Its better to shot for an option you can almost immediate get than overshoot for something you are not ready for or can gain because of how corrupt it is and lose out for ever. Art school and art departments are pretty corrupt folks and for that many people drop out of art school and they still have to pay their loans. I have come across many stories of this. Some are lucky and able to become commission artists. Others aren't and have to peg to live in the situation of "living alone" they placed theirselves in. The situation of trying for independence when you have nothing to support you can easily go to homelessness. Let's just say the feigned cute tolerance of social justice warrior this and that and feigned master role of teachers and students alike yet their fiendish hatred of true advancement or true talent is the real ugliness of art school and art departments that promotes and influx of disgruntled people with skills somewhat out into the open trying to make money even if its harmful to theirselves and advancement and harmful to the art industry at large( at least online). Maybe these people become the "only artists" because they are hung up on needing money. Now, think, which is easier? To be able to reach something available that is the real easy and constant money-multimedia degree aka graphic design and still be able to progress you art with no concern to money. Or peg that you art alone can dig you out of a hole that you have either been forced in, placed yourself in or got in simply by trusting the premise of art departments and art schools as helpful and positive places? It is easier to just go for the graphic degree or multi media degree because you usually can succeed just by teaching yourself the material if the teacher is truly bad and for the fact that these degrees can truly get you a job. Namely you can even get the courses at a community college and never have to pay any loans or if you do get loans, it will be a small amount. Then there is guaranteed money when you can just apply to an actual physical location or even online type of deal and start making money. Art schools and art departments usually never help anyone but theirselves to your money to build their ego in which they never do a great job at the frame of "education". These places are not helpful- ever- never- helpful(yikes should come to mine) in the development of your skills. At least in a multimedia program like graphic design the focus is never on your art but if you can do your assignments and you are basically pushed to make yourself succeed. In art programs and art schools people peg you to fail and want you to and simply there is no opportunity to succeed if you are one in the crowd or a person who takes on constant abuse of bad information and insults to your art and your skillset.
The artworld can be a good place only if you position yourself well to make any money to support yourself and art and not having to beg for bread or subject your art to self hindering by these "commissions".
What often people never consider if they are online oriented people is that people still make money off art even if they have these art purely related degrees or no education at all. The world of fine arts still exists. The painting of blue shade solely, that exists. Banksby in shredder, yep. Banana on wall, later ate by performance artist after should for something about $100,000? The fine art world still exists and yes even some online artists can get their art featured only in some galleries featured for them or supportive of them. Yet its not always an ideal thing for that to occur. To say that the world of art is larger than what some people who cannot make the simply realistic decisions to succeed or do well by the art world by saying the fine arts world still exists. If you never been on Twitter, those people would never acknowledge that fine art even exists as if they don't have minds to process it. Much notably, why is that done? So that people never realize there is better art out there or that art has many forms or meanings. I myself am not a one trick pony and realize the value in looking at all elements of art, from comics to fine art to even digital art so masqueraded as the face of modern art.
Yet that will never come out of an online "only artists" mouth as they are the trick of their own fantasy, their works and their works alone and all their personal meanings of money much near and namely exist only as art. Huzzah, full circle. Full circle,we have places that employ artists for comics, graphic design, illustration( do you really need an illustration degree to illustrate? the answer is no), movies, tv shows and other things even for teacher roles; then we have other places were fine artists make lots of money off art pieces and then we have the little online community of folks that say they are all art is and make art in stealing copyright material, selling original content in a healthy manner and selling unorginal content in an unhealthy and self imposing way! Oh, A! I am here to tell you hat really physical world contains so many artists and maybe when you plug on your computer-you incited to bad propaganda on what art is all about where people who possibly know what they are doing say they are the face of art. The physical world contains people who pretend to be artists by the wage but really are just fakers, teachers who are specializing in art but are not artists who live by any real art related wage and students who want to be the next big thing who seek to just get in your way. Ultimately, in the physical realm if you are not careful of where you go to school and your goals, you could be a person trapped at home trying to become an "only artist" who says only their art is important to get any money from. So basically I conclude in the next segment.
Conclusion;
A bad art education system that does not give artists or people who aspire to be artists a livable wage makes them fend for theirselves when filling them with pipe dreams produces more loans than they can bare. Many people are never educated on what they can do to protect their goals and aspirations to actually make money and progress in their art where they don't have to sacrifice namely their art for money and the meaning of it in which ever people desperate to pay off loans do. Many people who are never educated on good education for their goals and to be financially safe and even live a life are basically forced to labor in commissions promoting their somewhat good art as some of the best art there can only be. In return what this does is rob a consumer base of what art is and the many identities it can take and furthermore robs artists who truly work hard of any money or any recognition. Similarly, it destroys the chance that a new generation appreciates fineart at all when they don't know it exist via poor art education and artists saying they are the only artists on the internet. In sum, cultural enrichment by art is hindered and even robbed by artists theirselves when they never consider what is beneficial to them or others to succeed. Surely enough art schools and art departments are never onto of this and do everything to make student's lives hell and their goals obsetle in priorities when faced with tons of debt incurred in their lofty snake oil programs that don't teach any great trade or anything which develops an artist. Commission is submission. By breaking the circle of allowing a bad recognition of art, be careful of where you spend your money with whom and what institution as likely they are giving art and artists a bad name and dragging art and artists down with them.
Conclusion;
