Why Nuclear Weapons are necessary.
Nuclear weapons
are needed as a show of strength to keep nations in check and ensure one does
not overthrow the other And so that people of one certain kind are not tossed
over for the sake of another. In history people have needed the same or
superior weapons to keep the same military power or superior military power as
their enemies. Which in today’s rhetoric and global power means talking power. And
with that in mind cold war tactics revealed that only leveraging atomic bombs
as gold for warfare in terms of their deadly worth to destroy humanity; can
people and countries be made to be accountable for their actions and actually
guard the world against nuclear threats and choose other paths to go to war or
rather else choose peace. Peace to the degree that countries will choose
diplomacy and not cause a global war or a war between two countries who have said
atomic bombs-world powers. For the sake of causing violence is likely to create
a larger war in which higher weapons than the atomic bomb will ultimately be
derived in the need to gain advantage in high stakes and “win”. But as a new
term of socialization; the cost of winning is not as vital as the sake of the
world or societies their selves. People will not sacrifice societies and the
world for war and only nuclear weapons hold the status of what goes wrong in
war; enough to be a deterrent for starting great wars and thinking they have no
effect on society and the world itself. Which is why in this relatively
peaceful era of nations and acceptance of nations by a world organization; the
United Nations~ nuclear weapons are still needed.
Many weapons have
been developed in the scene of war. For example in World War 1 many new weapons
were created by the Axis yet Allies. Including better guns, rifles, tanks,
airplanes, gas and trench warfare yet more to make the effort of war easier or
rather leverage strength over their enemies.
Said weapons can be used to gain an advantage over the other temporary
even if the war ends. As in the Cold War; the use of nuclear weapons and their
socialization of how governments and politicians would use them-proved that
this currency of advancement could not be used any further to develop weapons
further than the nuclear weapons. Basically to say that no weapons ultimately
could be made past the atomic bomb for they would risk the safety of the planet
if everyone had them. And if some governments were not held in their objectives
they could easily take over other governments and smaller ones without nuclear
powers to their own needs. Such as encouraging communism all and sure-seeking
solely to eradicate democracy with the nuclear bomb in countries without atomic
bombs. And as of such democratic powers had to leverage the atomic bomb as a
vital way to allow smaller countries the choice to become communist or democratic
ultimately. And not be forced to ultimately be communist by force.
By the same merit; the cold war established
still the same Allies and Axis regime of thought but instead where countries
who held democracy would unite as the Allies and the Axis side would hold to
the beliefs of communism. Eventually giving away to an agreement that nuclear
weapons should not be furthered and other higher weapons so should not be
furthered as well- to not risk another large global war that would eradicate
humanity. And that further wars for the sake of non-weapon advancement in war
should include more suitable means outside of atomic warfare and should never
include the need for an atomic bomb.
The main reason
why no one sees any purpose of gaining new weapons in this era past the atomic
bomb is simply because the last great escalated war where people felt so highly
to defend either of their ways of life-only the methods then are greatly know
and set the limit for advancements that could be made to warfare. Said ultimately
that the atomic bomb set that people not be so desperate to “win” that they
destroy the world in this system of warfare advancement. And since there have been no wars where a
necessary drive to “win”-no new weapons have been made. And to do such further
advancement in the consequence of the atomic bomb and its aftermath would be
inhumane, immoral, world harming, humanity harming and ultimately a thing of
the past. As no one truly wants to see loss such as great as the atomic weapon
across the world.
The atomic bomb
was developed in the World War 2; to cut losses in life of the Allies and the
United States. And victory came at the death of many civilians in an instant;
and devastation that lasted longer and frankly more costly to those involved.
Many civilians who did not die then-died later due to radiation and poisoning.
Showing how destructive the atomic weapon was and could not be used lightly as
it was inhumane to all those within its range. As those included were likened
to get cancer and other diseases and die slowly over years if they did not die
shortly after the bomb. And that the weight of the bombs in moral consequence
is that it ultimately did not affect soldiers but civilians and could easily be
turned on United States citizens instead of Japanese citizens. Further likened
the need to not continue to use the weapon unless necessary as at the time it
was used; only the United States had a license to a nuclear bomb. But later on;
as this was only a “just” weapon to necessarily prevent the loss of life to the
allies side was the last greatest advancement and many countries who did not
have it wanted it.
Russia although
had helped the allies in World War 2; wanted the nuclear bomb to only further
communism. This is what the United States did not want as it feared Russia
spreading the bomb to other countries and even at first thought it should
continue using the atomic bomb freely as a threat and as a power statement to
the world. Eventually it was realized that the nuclear weapon in two opposing
countries could only mean nuclear war. The Truman Doctrine of course was one to
say that it would protect the interests of smaller countries and other
countries to be democratic and not be bullied ultimately into being communist.
But as well started the Cold War where many weapons were made on either side of
the United States and Russia and their allying partners. However no war was
actually fought; it was shown by the next great military need of the United
States-the Vietnam War ultimately to promote democracy against communism in the
realm of the Truman Doctrine`~ that it was not willing to use nuclear bombs for
anything at all. Anything at all; to leverage a victory in what was the jungle
habit of Vietnam; ultimately it was hard to reach- the enemies and no matter of
replacement of any other “bombs” would replace it and its effect that it had in
Japan. And rather that nuclear dependence would not solve all or any problems
to “win” and include the chance of democracy in this particular country of Vietnam.
The gulf war
itself was simply a dispute over oil and yet no new weapons were needed because
no one wanted to escalate the violence of developing new weapons and their
impact on the world and society itself just to “win”. People became humbled in
the spirit of war and there were limits on what you could do ultimately to “win”
without destroying both society and the world itself. Atomic bombs their selves
and their socially destructive nature where they could inspire worse weapons
are a modern deterrent for World Wars and any type of overbearing war of any
sort. Because no one wants to destroy the world itself for human wars.
This itself sets
the basis for the UN- or United Nations. A council in which countries come
together in an effort of peace to control each other in accord of know laws and
what is acceptable and what is not. Also greatly helps leverage peace over war
and that certain world powers do not use nuclear weapons at all or against each
other. Helping greatly to ensure that the item of peace is assured and that
another World War or great conflict like the Cold War does not occur. And that
nations do not needlessly go to war with each other when solutions can be
formed over the length of the council. But only did people ever get this far in
unity of many countries only out of the fear of world destruction by nuclear
weapons from many countries. And else none of this unity would have ever be
achieved without the situation of the atomic bomb. And thus; today there is no
need to get rid of Nuclear weapons but use them as a deterrent to ensure peace.
The atomic bomb
proves that advancements in war must be helmed from creating more advantageous
weapons because eventually they will destroy society and the world itself.
These constant reminders that every major developed country has an atomic bomb
shows how all have a responsibility to the current status quo or weight to
peace and not outright war. War in which will give more deadly weapons because
of the need to have an advantage or just to solely “win”. And have the
conscious that a world war and outright violent tendencies would not led to a
great tomorrow but a tomorrow where humans forever choose violence and
destruction of the world rather than peace and togetherness. Which of course
these responsibilities and consciousness to not engage in war are only brought
forward by nuclear weapons. No other weapon is able to bring on the thought
that unity should be achieved than using the weapon than the atomic bomb as
proved by the Cold war and its implications for later wars like the Vietnam and
the Gulf war that no one would use atomic bombs to “win” because of their
hostility to safety of human life and that people would prefer not to “win” but
to keep the aspect of world peace. Rather encouraged to keep conflicts at a
minimum than maximum realizing that maximizing wars will led to the destruction
of humanity.
