They question the superiority of Taylor Swift.

Seriously; when the people of Slate wrote this on Tuesday December 2, 2014 they were only considering Taylor Swift's most recent album 1989. After this album of 2014-there is Reputation in 2017 and then in 2019 Lover. Of course what is readily to say this whole piece points how damn frivilious the media is to the truth. Going to ask a rather superlative question that does nothing
(exaggerated question). When of course its apparent that Taylor Swift will always be well liked and well loved just because she is the media's darling of course and not for any other qualities even. The article here pats itself on being critical about her then album 1989 saying it does not sound like the 1980s. But was that the whole point of Taylor Swift even writing the album-survey would say clear no. Taylor Swift wrote 1989 when I stopped much listening to the Walk the Moon-a 1980s oriented band by the context of the mainstream media. But really Taylor Swift was solely trying to be like Walk the Moon and really to say Walk the Moon only takes inspiration from the 1980s like many indie bands before 2014. " Shut up and Dance" was a popular song by Walk the Moon and it was popular around this time period and they played it on the radio when the last song called Anna Sun was only played on the radio sparingly. The thing is here Taylor Swift gets the opportunity of introducing the mainstream media to the 1980s so called inspired indie influence but they want to phrase it in the most redeeming merits to Taylor Swift. That she is the sole discovery of the style and just to people who really live corporate and dull lives-they expect their whole fucking child hood on display really don't get where she stole the ideas from. Who honestly can know the sheer coincidence of two 80s inspired artists if not more in the 2014 fall radio market? And really only pick the heavy most know pop character as the resulting force behind Walk the Moon's style and style that was used by other bands all the damn time before Taylor Swift was up in this 1989 album groove. You could go on and find that article and see that it was wrong about many things.

It wants to be critical of an artstyle Taylor Swift took as her own and wants to peg her as misinterpreting the 1980s and she is some savant genius who they don't get along with.

Taylor Swift would always be popular again seriously why; because she is simply the child of the pop culture media and they would always frame any outcome positively. When her label was taken over by supposed bad guy and yes bad guy-Scooter whatever she basically lost all her albums minus the recent one and really~ the media was all in arms in supporting her. Artists else not her will never have her support. The All American Rejects for instance could have a trouble with interscope and it never be on Good Morning America and no bubbly new caster to comfort any of them it would be alright.

No what this article got wrong is that Taylor Swift only got bigger. Even to say just taking sums of styles of other folk and making it her own but you can do that as an artist really but Taylor Swift has the constant media main admirers who trash the sacred heavens of sacred artstyles developed by other people just to be of Taylor Swift and no one else-really never giving people credit for discovering anything or creating anything. That is one thing to be said about the media it really does not care about artists but the most likable pop artists or ones who make it to the head ringers. I find that even the pop stars today are a bit more generous and diverse than in the past and edm became a pop culture thing if you can believe it and yet no one could ever talk about its non pop origins even. The last impact of the media is that it thinks it knows the future and can ask a clever sum of questions that paint a person the sole discover of America when already a country and people exist there.

The article pretended as if Taylor Swift would never be popular again. But really never critical of her and how she really took the 1980s inspired trope from the indie artists where subsequently it was bashed by the likes of other bubbly pop stars until they got tired of it. However the one major plus of anything is to say it just opened the door of indie bands to go from neat to freak in a matter of popularity in mass media. Unfortunately Imagine Dragons was already gone by this time and never inspired by the 1980s indie inspired scene.

No; Taylor Swift regardless of this article and its premise she had to pass her #1 song again to be revelant again moved onto better things and frankly just helped the proliferation of the mass media to exploit the style of indie artists and call that style its own and maybe then everyone got confused and let indie oriented artists through and really the music scene changed all because Taylor Swift took inspiration from 1980s inspired bands and was credited for discovering the style just like Columbus was the Americas. Taylor Swift ,the great maker.

Got this thing; 10hours after it was published on facebook.

Author's story.
Just cruising on facebook when it had trending-figuring my next steps for Kyeombi my comic effort. It was the fall 2014 and December and working on my last projects and for a thing everyone was against I was make excellent progress and I would not be stopped. Worked in libraries on my methods and only facebook kept me in tune with reality of the music scene. I was listening to true woman of art and industry Lights and her album of that time period. I might have listened to Walk the Moon but it was not my center focus. It being recognized by the media and yet people writing bullshit like this screenshot reveals about Taylor Swift being the sole argument of the 1980s inspired style as something new-just got to me of the treachery of the media and knew it was over for Walk the Moon as a band I liked. Honestly however I was wrong and Walk the Moon stayed the same and even went back to its roots for the 2017 album. Now did I listen to the Taylor Swift album of 2014 when it came out? I did-only one time and really just saw it as a rip on the 1980s inspired indie bands. Often to say it was a progressive time period for me and the artists I listened to.
