let's talk about these things in a retrospective sense.
The great means of discrimination. I am to say that you could never be safe as long as you basically are freaking black in anywhere. Instantly you are a target and especially if you are the wrong black amongst black people who are freaking culturally ignorant and as racist as white people if not as religious-its even worse. I am to say the very notion of discrimination is treating one party better than another, refusing the identity of humanity to them and if not depriving them of equal rights and opportunities. I am to say that when a person looks back to the graphic design program I went through it has to be the most harmful program that I have ever gone through for many reasons. So many reasons but to boil it down; the place made life difficult, the teachers were snakes and really much pretended to support all people's efforts to become graphic designers but really were keen on singling people out to be scapegoats of " what not to be" to the people they favor to succeed as graphic designers. They extended certain membership in their little club to only certain people and only invited then these people to a competition if not as well fucking made certain that people knew these people were chosen out of favoritism because they kissed the teacher's asses and believed in a folly unreal reality of graphic design that does not exist in the real world.
I am just going to say you suck as a teacher if you don't know what the real world vantage is for graphic designers and just let people make believe to a malicious fault. Its so hideous when these realities are just an internet search away and an actual internet reality away. People could try to talk to these people of real reality but yet they would believe they are the first people to be graphic designers and know everything when in reality-when they get out into the real world they will have trouble. They will have trouble because people won't lie to them. People won't indulge their misinformed fantasies only for money to be given to them because they dare indulge them( like the teachers). People will not even dare to assume skill when they have none in all sheer honesty and lack the type of college readiness skills to even be bare basics a worker in a company that has to interact with others and not think they are better than others. There are no special clubs that are very obscure in a community college to join. Really much so many people in their special club never become a graphic designer anything and that is just a testament to how much the place is just a place holder for debauchery. A place where only some people's goals of being a graphic designer are respected but others are to be hated and disrespected.
There was really much to be said some really toxic energy from the start of the program to the end because these teachers had favoritism and just allowed people to play make believe and disrespect students who were grounded in reality and did not kiss the ass of the teachers. If not the teachers theirselves disrespected people on the basis of not being ass kissers especially if you were a black student just being as it meant that because you were a person of color that you must asskiss. That is to be said these people loved to play into racist idealisms on the low down but anyone who was smart and lived on this Earth knew what these things were. My god, some people of color just folk to the chance to kiss some ass when it obviously does not help them and they still don't go anywhere good in teacher reviews and things of that nature compared to other folks who are white.
This program just brought me alot of pain and I would like to speak about in the next works in a retrospective sense.
