Dislyte review.
Dislyte is a game I have played for months. The game is very good. It actually got me back into gaming and really much that is saying alot because I only played the browser games which are likely extinct or facing extinction from the flash and shockwave components missing or having to be else stimulated. Neopets long gave up on having a site that was completed whenever these things went outdated. This game I will say is very stylish and reminds me of what I wanted to create for MK MZODERN fall 2016. I mean it has great music, it is animated and the characters are stylish. The game is very fun to play.
The game is essentially split into many different games itself with a main story with seperate components you can utilize off this main game. There are so many opportunities to get the different characters as this is a gacha game where you collect the characters through special events and things of the such. You can also find many opportunities to play characters that you don't even have. In the many events you often play as a character which is rare or hard to get. The favorite event of mine was the Static Shock one, I actually loved the character who is to have the Zeus emblem. To be said, in the game characters are modeled after gods from mythology so there is that and really much there is a whole said lore that I will cover another time as I completed the story element of the game. Dislyte has so many opportunities to battle all the different characters so that you are never stuck behind a pay wall aka Dofus and Runescape! You also can utilize all spaces of the game and all mini games as well with the exception of a game that can be found in the club which is very hard to even get to if you have no one in your club. don't have enough people in your club and/or aren't in one. I love this game for having so many features and its many games being free.
Each of these minigames advance your characters most of the time or aid in getting relics and other materials that can level up and/or empower your characters. However, the difficulty level on some of these games depends on your actual level in the game and basically at some point these games become impossible to defeat unless you complete the story of the game which is not actually easy. I tried for weeks and weeks to defeat the last levels and when I finally did it is because I basically grinded and updated all my characters to higher levels. There is to be said there is a challenging element to these games which reminds me of playing web games like Mr. Fancy Pants( maybe that was what it was called) and Pineapple Man which had the ability to keep you on your toes and challenge you. It just takes me back in nostalgia in this advent but instead of a 2000s computer it is my phone.
I would say there is an ability to battle other players and well; some people are too hard to defeat unless you have completed the story mode to the easy level which is not that easy to be frank the first time around. Speaking of which; your characters have two other versions of the game they can play which are based on difficulty! There is to be said there are constant games and there are special ones you can only play for a limited time that also come with stories and if you don't play them then; you miss out on the lore and have to pay actual money to get these same stories. The community of Dislyte is basically a chat box on the top of the game. To me, I never have gotten any luck of having people even respond to me but they talk about things that aren't always Dislyte. It can be funny and then it can be serious and then inbetween. The best community can be the youtube videos which show off the different high tier teams and player hacks or guides or whatever you wish to call them. The reddit community is pretty nice I will say unlike alot of gaming communities. They don't ignore people who post and there is no favoritism nor groupthink. The community aspects of this game are great and especially so when the club function allows you to access a particular game if the club you are apart of has the proper number of followers aka 10. You can also gift people certain elements which allow them when collecting three of them to receive a token amount to purchase something from a speciality shop with the tokens. This is the difference from advancing your character in many cases or not. You can say there are many shops in this game but they only have a limited number of things you need to advance certain characters.
Getting to the characters; this work has people of color in it and I believe its from China-this game? Its kinda of remarkable on how much representation is in this game and its not forced. These people actually try to make real and authentic characters and even spend out polls to ask the audience if the characters are legitimate in these means. Ultimately this is a selling point in the opening sequence of the game as there is this really awesome 3-d introductory bit that opens the game where this realness and authenticity is brought up. There are quite a many black, southeast asian, middle eastern, nordic and other people in this game. You usually don't find that in these type of games but Dislyte has got it covered to a degree nothing is fake.
To conclude this basic review; a person will say that this game is very complex in the number of games in a game you can play and how those games contribute to a larger inworking story and game. The connections of friends in this game can be vital if low on resources to advance. There are many stylish characters in this game that many people will be able to relate to and really much is not like most gacha games where everyone is basically white or asian white having different cultures attached to them. Its a game from China that does more respect to many groups of people than which any work that claims it has "diversity" is actually doing. The game is rather challenging and gives an experience that can make the most retired gamer return back into gaming, indeed.
This is a basic review and there will be more I want to talk about up and coming.
