Variant: Places where it is actually dangerous to develop creativity.
For a long time, I noticed that this world is not friendly to the patrons of creativity.
Have you ever questioned how many art potential and intellectual thinkers there are in war torn parts of the middle east, or impoverished india, africa and North Korea that cannot do what they love in their country because its simply to dangerous or goes against the social standard there?
Yes, many people in this country take it for granted that they can do whatever they want if they have the time to spare and ambition. Not to say that everyone here lives in peace or riches, but its more likely for them to be able to complete their goals because this a more advanced place that most places on this planet. There is a type of freedom in which people can do whatever they want if they have the will. But ah, today, people say fuck the will, its just money for which we will take the kill.
But is money everything, no. Depression is most common in our society whether if you are depressed in other places, you could probably would fall victim to some drone attack or suicide bombing or some military attack and that would be the end of you and your dreams. People are disillusioned with reality. Nearly three continents, are filled with animosity of understanding for human rights. People are blow or executed every day, they live in fear and yet, what can people here say. "Catcalling is crime, we should hang that guy/girl." Its a bit of an exaggeration but nor far from the truth.
People do not seem to realize that this world is a terrible place to live. Its history is all about misdirected religious people leading others to do bad things, using this misdirected ideals on a certain reality to find validity to do these terrible things. The U.S and countries like it may be better off in terms of peace and freedom but in terms of helping or understanding the realities of most of the remaining, they are not better off. People tend to ignore that the people in 3rd world countries are people, that there in these countries exists people just like them. But regardless of what any religious hoot or any atheist might think, there is a religion, a thought process that could be said to be found in the United States and these developed countries. The thought is " we are safe, we don't have to do anything but the bare minimal". Yes, all people of majority in such developed countries only do enough to survive and is it fair to those without the same opportunity in impoverished countries, that these people do exactly the same as they do? Which is only do enough to survive? Not contribute the to society with their goals and dreams. It is like the 1984 book by George Orwell( I bring this up a lot) people simply just do things they are told to live a comfortable life in a conform restricted society. And in the end, when they pass on, no one remembers them. It is the same in our society, of course your family might know you, but really after you are dead and you have done nothing to offer, no one from the future has a chance to bring you up other than being some guy's distant relative or a history ancestry show on some media venue. Its all so boring. Bluntly put that people in a land of freedom have nothing to show of their freedom than lunatics, insipid small minded "cry wolf" complaints about small issues and things, delusional god complex, superiority complex or the brute killing of each other. But to an outsider, it would seem that people in freedom actually have no freedom, that the system itself is a lie and people are only believing what they are told, a santa claus complex if you will. Further in explanation, Santa Claus is a mythical man who goes around the world on one Christmas eve and gives people presents. What people presents are presented, children( also a different kind of present if you look on the porn interpretation.). Children stay up or go to sleep to either confirm he exists by promise or by their very own eyes. What I mean by promise is that they believe that since the next morning there are gifts under the tree, it must mean he exists. Others just like to try and see him up close, but all they will see is their parents.
There are all these hardworking people who are no more than children either wishing to confirm freedom exists by the promise of politicians or some who want to see freedom up close, but only discover they live in a country dominated by corporations and corrupt politicians. And yet, these people who want to see freedom only play a peek a boo game most of the time, never actually reaching or doing anything in the name of freedom but only complaining on their talk show or platform whatnot/medium. None of these believers do anything to better the idea of freedom.
Society here is no better than society over there, because people are the same wherever you go,
there is no damn distinction. Its only that in a majority of the world that the people who actually do what they want, are killed more often than they are in the land of "freedom"
People could say that the recent violence in the United States is only proof that it is becoming a 3rd world country, I mean all the ingredients for such a disaster are here. A delusional misguided amount of people( willing to vote for the next retarded candidate), money hungry corporations, a prevailing attitude that treats human life like garbage, crying wolf antics and other nasty things like corruption, can lead this country to become nothing more than a downgrade society ruled by people playing democracy but enacting a controlling form of government that targets those they do not agree with and makes life harder for people who are not like them just because " its fun".
Yet, its already too late. Soon people will be forced to marry those they do not like. Keep on working as slaves at places they do not like, doing things they do not like and being policed by virtues and concepts they do not like.
But no one today realizes the freedom they actually have in comparison to many who are blown up instantly at night or at a day or at play. They do not have to worry about dying instantly. But however, no one gives a damn about theirselves or others, they just want to be comfortable and do nothing. And in a world where this atmosphere is everyone in these well off societies, no place is safe for creativity, even the United States, the land of freedom. Its a joke in the face of anyone who actually suffers when they read the conditions of the United States and see the opportunities citizens actually have here and how they are wasted and how pretentious and entitled it is to say " catcalling is a crime, hang them". People elsewhere probably don't have time or a place to even catcall someone, when they have to watch for being blown up. But don't worry, there will be a time in the near future where corporations rule everyone with an iron fist and not care about " your freedom" as long as you think what they provide is freedom and if they care about" your freedom" they will give you freedom by shooting you dead. Everyone can be united by selfless killings and that process has already begun today.
